Overseas Trips

The Club has a tradition of organising overseas trips, though in recent years it is Club members who get together and organise group trips abroad. Joining the club and attending Scottish meets enables new members to meet like minded folk with similar interests who then ski together in a variety of contexts. Over the years such private groups of club friends have skied in Norway, the Alps, Canada, Turkey and even Greenland.

Here are some of the holidays organised by Members for the 2025-2026 ski season.

• 17th - 24th January.  Champoluc. Italian Alps Ski and Ski Touring. Places may still be available on this trip. Contact chair@estc.org.uk for further information.

• 24th - 31st January. Tyrol Ski Touring Week with Alpine Guides.

• 14th - 21st February. Queyras Traverse Ski Tour with Mountain Tracks.

• 1st - 15th March. Hut-to-hut ski tour in Sylan (Norway) starting at Selbuskogen and finishing at Nordpå Fjellhotell. Then track-skiing around Røros.

• 22nd - 29th March. Northern Norway Ski Tour with the Ski Club of Great Britain.

• 3rd - 10th April. Sailing and ski touring in northern Norway, starting from Harstad.

• 26th April - 3rd May. Kvaløya Islands, Artic Norway with Ski Performance Scotland.
