Joining the ESTC Google Group

1. ​You have to set up a Google account first if you don't have one already – you can do this with any e-mail address at https://accounts.google.com/NewAccount   

2. You then go directly to https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/estc. 

3. If your account is not open you will be asked to sign in.

4. Then underneath the line saying you must be a member of the group to access it, there is a link to apply for membership. Click on it.

5. A dialogue box will appear for you to complete.

6. Please put your full name as your display name (first name and last name). 

7. Set the e-mail delivery service. (It is not heavy traffic – a few a week during the ski season). 

8. Enter your name (again) in the box labelled “Reason for Joining”. This is because Google does not send your name through to the group manager.

9. If you use a different e-mail address for your Google account to the one you used in our ESTC membership system (membermojo), then please also include your membermojo e-mail address in the "reason for joining". This is so we can confirm your identity.

10. Click on Apply.

11. When it has been approved by a group manager you will get an email with a link to visit the group. This will land you on the conversations page (once you’ve signed in).

You can adjust your settings at any time.
