Edinburgh Ski Touring Club

The Edinburgh Ski Touring Club is an active outdoor club. We pursue a range of ski touring activities in Scotland, Norway, the Alps and beyond, from traditional nordic cross country skiing & telemark skiing to ski mountaineering and Alpine skiing. Some members even (gasp!) snowboard.

As winter ends we metamorphose into a hiking, cycling and climbing club. We have an active spring and summer schedule along with weekend trips and weeknight walks often arranged at short notice.

Equally importantly we are a social club. We have regular pub meets, dinner parties, ceilidhs and other social gatherings either arranged formally as a club event or through the loose network of friends that is the club.

We are Edinburgh-based but have club members all around Britain, and indeed the world. Our doors are always open to new members. New or prospective members: We meet first Tuesday of every month at a pub in Edinburgh. Come along and have a chat!
